Dear Readers,

This New Year, let us pray fervently for revival in our country. The following quote by Samuel Logan Brengle has convicted me to be more bold about sharing my faith:

“ The one who withholds testimony to the grace of God will lose it. Light, hid under a bushel, will go out. God gives us light so that we may put it on a candle-stick and bring it to the house, the community, the nation. Don’t let unbelief prevent your testimony and its power. A torch loses no flame or heat when lighting a thousand other torches . . . Testify, testify, testify—clearly, definitely, constantly, courageously, humbly. Testify to the Lord, giving thanks. Testify to your comrades. Testify to your own heart and to the devil. This brightens and stirs up the inward witness and scatters the enemy. John tells us that the heavenly white-robed multitude overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. Testify so that you may overcome and keep the light you’ve been given.”
